REHEATING INSTRUCTIONS
Turkey
Getting Ready:
1. Preheat: Start by preheating your oven to 165°C (329°F).
2. Rest: Let your turkey or chicken rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before roasting. This helps ensure even cooking.
Roasting Time:
3. Prepare the Tray: Place your turkey or chicken breast-side down on a roasting tray fitted with a rack. Pour one cup of water into the tray to create steam and keep the meat moist.
4. Cover and Roast: Cover the turkey or chicken tightly with foil and place it in the preheated oven. Roast for 20-30 minutes for chicken or 30-40 minutes for turkey.
5. Golden Finish: About 10 minutes before your bird is fully cooked, remove the foil. This allows the skin to crisp up and turn a beautiful golden brown. Generously baste the turkey or chicken with butter for added flavor and a glossy finish.
Reheating Your Turkey Stuffing:
1. Rest: Let the turkey stuffing rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before reheating.
2. Gentle Reheat: Bring a pot of water to a boil, then reduce the heat to maintain a temperature of 70°C (158°F). Place the stuffing in its packaging into the warm water for 20-30 minutes.
Reheating Roasted Beef:
Getting Ready:
1. Unwrap: Remove the roasted beef from its plastic wrapping.
2. Prepare: Place the beef on a baking sheet or tray.
Reheat:
3. Cover: Cover the beef tightly with aluminum foil.
4. Preheat: Preheat your oven to 160°C (325°F) with the "steam & bake" setting enabled.
5. Reheat: Place the covered beef in the preheated oven and bake until it reaches an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F). This should take approximately 20-25 minutes.
Tips:
● If you don't have a "steam & bake" setting, you can add a small amount of water to the bottom of the baking sheet to create steam.
● To ensure even reheating, try to use a large enough baking sheet or tray to accommodate the beef without overcrowding.
● To prevent the beef from drying out, avoid over-reheating.
● Let the reheated beef rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
